Step 4: Select Project

Select the SourceSafe project to import into SourceAnywhere repository. By default, the root project is selected.

If your SourceSafe database contains multiple projects which are unrelated to each other, we recommend that you place each one in its own SourceAnywhere repository. If you have a group of projects that are logically related to each other, it is better to place them in one repository together, enabling them to share and branch as a group.

You must set a temporary directory for the SourceSafe project. During the import process, the selected SourceSafe project will temporarily be placed in the Temp Directory you specify. You must have read/write access right to the temporary directory. The default Temp directory is the temporary directory set in SourceAnywhere Service Configurator.
