Mergeable File Types

The Mergeable File Types window allows you to specify the mergeable file types in the current repository. For any file with a file extension listed in the Mergeable File Types list, SourceAnywhere treats it as mergeable while you choose auto-detect as the file type in Add File Comment or Add Folder Comment dialog box. General user can also change its type to binary on the General Tab of  File Properties. Mergeable files can be performed visual diff/merge operations while Binary files can not.

Window Items

Mergeable File Types

Lists the mergeable file types in the current repository.

Add

Adds a mergeable file type. Click Add to display the Add Mergeable File Type dialog box.

Edit

Edits the selected mergeable file type. Click Edit to display the Edit Mergeable File Type dialog box.

Delete

Removes the selected mergeable file type.
