Cache Server

From version 2.0, Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere provides a caching solution for distributed development. Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Cache Server is an optional caching system used to cache copies of requested server files, thereby improving the client responsiveness.

When you have more than 1 developer working on the same project at the same remote location, you may need SourceAnywhere Cache Server.

This is the scenario: When a user try to get or check out a file through Cache Server, if the file was transferred through this cache server before, the file will be transferred directly from cache server to client without sending request to server.

Additional features of SourceAnywhere Cache Server are listed below:

• Low Administrative Overhead
  Files are automatically cached upon requests; SourceAnywhere Cache Server is self-maintaining.
   
• Standard TCP/IP Communication Link
  SourceAnywhere uses TCP/IP as the communication link between SourceAnywhere Server, SourceAnywhere Cache Server, and SourceAnywhere Client. It allows SourceAnywhere Cache Server to be deployed over WAN or LAN with ease.
   
• Encrypted Data Transmission
  Data transmission between SourceAnywhere Server, SourceAnywhere Cache Server and SourceAnywhere Client can be secured by implementing Blowfish or SSL encryption.
   
• Scalable Distribution Mechanism
  The distribution mechanism provided by SourceAnywhere Cache Server can scale into the tens of thousands of servers as needed.
