File Differences

In SourceAnywhere, you can compare two files and show the difference if any.  You can use a diff utility to compare two files. The default diff utility in SourceAnywhere is MergeHero. Dynamsoft SAW may also be configured with an external application for visual diff on files . This setting is in Tools->Options->External Programs tab.

When you compare two files,

• For mergeable files, SourceAnywhere visually displays the individual line differences between the two files.
   
• For binary files, SourceAnywhere only identifies the differences.
