Encryption

To enable the Command Line Client to connect to the secure port and use SSL or Blowfish encryption, Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere GUI Client (Windows GUI Client or Java GUI Client) must be installed on the same machine as the one running for the Command Line Client . The Command Line Client will use the same SSL Root Certificate or Blowfish User Key that has been imported into the GUI Client to authenticate the secure connection.

Whether encryption is used or not depends on the port that the Command Line Client connects to. Please contact your Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Administrator to find out which ports are being used for SSL, Blowfish and unsecured connections.
