Command Remarks

Searches for files containing specified string. You can define criteria for the query in Find in Files dialog box.

Access Rights

Any Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere users can use this command.

Dialog Box Items

Item

Shows path or file name for searching

String

Specify a string you are looking for

Files of type

Specify a file type that will be displayed in the search result

Match case

If this option is checked, match case will be supported

Use regular expressions

If this option is checked, use findstr.exe search. If none of Use regular expressions and Show matched line number content is checked, Windows index search is used. If either of them is checked, findstr.exe search is used

Recursive

Find string in project and all its descendants.

Show matched line number content

If this option is checked, Matched Details will be available in the Search Result.

Filter search result by date

File Size

Filter search result by size
