Configuration Example

The following assumptions are made in this example:

• One cache server is used;
• The client connects to Blowfish secure port of cache server;
• The cache server connects to SSL secure port of the server;
• Server IP = 192.168.2.142;
• Server SSL secure port = 7779;
• Cache server IP = 192.168.1.13;
• Cache server  Blowfish secure port = 6666.

In Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Service Configurator

1. In General Settings, check Use SSL port checkbox and enter a port as SSL encryption port.
   
   
   

2. In SSL Root CA, click Generate SSL Root CA button and configure information in Generate SSL Root CA dialog box. The SSL root certificate will be automatically downloaded and imported by the client (or another Cache Server) upon successful connection.
   
   
   

3. Click Start Service button to start up Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Server service.
   
   
   

In Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Cache Server Manager

1. In Service Relation, click Add button and establish a connection between cache server and server in Service Relation Settings dialog box.
   
   
   
   In the dialog box, enter the IP address and port of Cache Server ,and choose the Blowfish encryption type, and then enter the IP address and SSL port of Server.
   

2. In Blowfish User Keys, click Add button to generate Blowfish user key for a user in Add Blowfish User Key dialog box and click Export Key button to save Blowfish user key as a file (for example, named "user.sek").
   
   
   
   
3. Click Start button to start up Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Cache Server service.
   
   

In Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Client

1. Select Import Blowfish User Key... from the Tools menu and import the Blowfish user key (user.sek) exported by Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Cache Server Manager.
   
2. In Connect to Server dialog box, enter the IP and Blowfish encryption port of cache server.
